A Message from:
Paul R. Gillespie, MAI                                                                                     April 11, 2013
2013 Chicago Chapter President

Dear Colleagues:

Your Input & Feedback- I want it!  Everyday, your Chapter is trying to move ahead in the areas of Networking, Education, Public Relations, Government Relations and more.  Throughout this still-young year, I’ve heard from many with concerns re legislation of our profession, challenges of state certification, communications or lack thereof from the Appraisal Subcommittee, the Appraisal Foundation and more. Your input is always welcome. If you would like to visit in person, Members, Candidates & Affiliates are all welcome to visit with me at the Chapter Office on April 23rd from 10:00 to 11:00am.  The primary focus on that day will be discussion re the recently passed AMC legislation, although any topic is fair game.

Congratulations to CCAI Member,Timothy E. Fitzgibbons, SRA who was named today as Region III Volunteer of Distinction!  Exemplifying endless measures of resilience & perseverance, Tim gave tirelessly to the Chapter during the past year & beyond to solicit bids, enter negotiations, educate peers, interact with brokers, asset and property managers, contractors, engineers -  all while doling out patience, a calm attentive ear, and rapid response to see the classroom renovation through to completion. Without Tim, our classroom renovation would not have happened - nor would the opportunities that are now available in the long-term for The Chicago Chapter & classroom users. Thank you, Tim!
